VMA Since 1969
Founded In 1969 in this splendorous city of Visakhapatnam. Promotion of fine arts in general and classical Indian music, dance and drama in particular formed its core objective. Needless to mention that the Academy inherited a rich legacy in these cultural forms that we also owe a duty to sustain them for posterity.
Visakha Music Academy has been organizing regularly one concert every month in addition to a week-long festival annually, in which eminent artistes from all over the country are featured. We also provide platform for projecting the young artistes by organizing a mini festival of music and dance annually and present awards and certificates of commendation.
